Lifetime is premiering a behind-the-scenes documentary about one of the most influential female groups in music history. “TLC Forever: The Untold Story of Music’s Famed Trio,” with exclusive interviews with remaining members T-Boz (Tionne Watkins) and Chilli (Rozonda Thomas” as they prepare for their upcoming tour.
“TLC Forever” will air tonight, Saturday, June 3 at 8 p.m. on Lifetime. For those who have cut the traditional cable cord but would still like to view the documentary, Philo will be streaming Lifetime channel live and offers a free trial to new subscribers.
This new documentary about the trio “chronicles the journey of the female group who led the way with their music, their message, and their style.” According to a press release, T-Boz and Chilli, along with others from the music industry, speak for the first time about their lives in how they “broke boundaries, influenced an entire generation and survived against all odds.”
TLC formed in 1990 in Atlanta and have sold more than 85 million records worldwide. Their hits include “Waterfalls,” “Creep,” and “No Scrubs.” The third member of the group, Left Eye, was tragically killed in a car accident in Honduras in 2002.
