Apple Music has announced a new feature allowing people to sing along to tens of millions of their favourite songs.
The new feature will be available later this month for Apple Music subscribers globally except for Apple Music Voice Plan subscribers. It will be available on all compatible iPhone and iPad models as well as the new Apple TV 4K.
Apple Music Sing will allow users to sing along to their favourite songs with adjustable vocals and real-time lyrics. It provides multiple lyric views to help fans take the lead, perform duets, sing backup, and more, all integrated within Apple Music. The catalogue features tens of millions of the world’s most singable songs and will continue to expand.
“Apple Music’s lyrics experience is consistently one of the most popular features on our service,” said Apple Music and Beats vice president Oliver Schusser. “We already know our users all over the world love to follow along to their favourite songs, so we wanted to evolve this offering even further to enable even more engagement around music through singing. It’s really a lot of fun, our customers are going to love it.”

Apple Music will also launch over 50 dedicated companion playlists featuring the world’s most epic songs, duets, choruses, and anthems, fully optimised for the Apple Music Sing experience.
Apple Music Sing includes adjustable vocals, allowing the vocals to be dialled up or down but not removing them entirely, as well as on-screen real-time lyrics, separately-animated background vocals to make them distinct, and duet and multi-singer views to make them easier to sing to.

ENABLE HYBRID CLOUD & REDUCE NETWORK LATENCY WHITEPAPER
Hybrid cloud promises to bring together the best of both worlds enabling businesses to combine the scalability and cost-effectiveness of the cloud with the performance and control that you can get from your on-premise infrastructure.
Reducing WAN latency is one of the biggest issues with hybrid cloud performance. Taking advantage of compression and data deduplication can reduce your network latency.
Research firm, Markets and Markets, predicted that the hybrid cloud market size is expected to grow from US$38.27 billion in 2017 to US$97.64 billion by 2023.
Colocation facilities provide many of the benefits of having your servers in the cloud while still maintaining physical control of your systems.
Cloud adjacency provided by colocation facilities can enable you to leverage their low latency high bandwidth connections to the cloud as well as providing a solid connection back to your on-premises corporate network.
Download this white paper to find out what you need to know about enabling the hybrid cloud in your organisation.
